- Thrives best in deep, porous, humus- and nutrient-rich, sandy soil.
- 1. Work the soil thoroughly. Make a groove about 1-1.5 cm deep.
- 2. The seed belts are separated at the perforation.
- 3. Place the seed tape in the seed furrow.
- Cut the seed tape to the appropriate length.
- Protect from the wind by placing a little soil on top of the ends of the seeding belt.
- 4. Important: Water the seed furrow thoroughly so that the seed belt has good contact with the soil.
- 5. Cover the seed furrow/seeding strip with soil and press the soil firmly.
- Water again. 6. Do not let it dry out.
- Any hard soil crust is carefully loosened with a rake.
