Cherry laurels are fine evergreen shrubs with green leaves. They can have very different appearances, low and flat, bushy or tall and slender. Cherry laurels are normally hardy in the Danish climate and very suitable for hedges and the like. They are not suitable as a hedge if it is an exposed location with, for example, strong westerly winds with salt in the air from the sea.
