Colchicum is also called timeless, harvest timeless or some virgin. The flowers appear in September and only early next spring do leaves appear that are 20-30 cm high. The leaves disappear again only in the summer. Colchicum is very stable and comes back year after year. Beautiful under large trees, where it will light up with flowers in the fall.
The bulbs are very decorative as table decorations in the fall, so the tuber is placed in the ground when it has finished flowering.
