We sell flower bulbs in spring and autumn. In spring we sell flower bulbs and tubers, which are to be planted in spring. Most of these do not tolerate frost, e.g. Dahlia and Gladiolus. Others, such as lilies, French anemones and Crocosmia, tolerate frost and can be left outside all winter.
In the fall, large flower bulbs and tubers are sold, which are planted in the ground in the fall and can withstand frost, and they even like a little frost, so they will have more and more beautiful flowers in the spring.
You can plant your flower bulbs and tubers directly in the ground in the garden or in pots. In pots, you can plant crocuses at the top and tulips deeper. This will give you more flowering, crocuses bloom first and tulips come later. Remember that bulbs in pots also need a little frost, just like bulbs in the garden. We sell large flower bulbs and tubers, this gives greater certainty for a beautiful flowering in the spring. The size of large bulbs is measured as the circumference of the bulb, i.e. a 12+ is at least 12cm in circumference.
